In this workshop, we will teach you how to process earth pigments into inks and paints. You will work on grinding pigments using various grades of pestle and mortar and binding them into different mediums using a glass muller. You will also get to experiment with using the materials you have created to make creative outcomes - drawings and prints - including being taught a relief printing process with our very own in-house oil-based medium.

Accessibility
The studio is ground floor with wheelchair access.
An accessible toilet is next door to the studio.
There is a disabled parking space a few metres from the studio doors.
There is free parking on site on a first come, first served basis. It is a working studios so work days will be busier. There is an overflow car park a short walk from the studio.
Refreshments
Break-times will be built into the schedule.
Tea and coffee-making facilities are provided.
Materials
All materials are provided (though you are welcome to bring your own foraged materials if you wish).
Please bring containers to carry the ink you have made home safely.
