Tehidy Inks

Due to the fact that I am on Residency at Kennels Cottage, Tehidy Country Park until December we decided to make our first batch of site-specific inks there. We started with some foraging walks to see what was in abundance, and then carefully began harvesting. We are always very careful that we work with fallen material as priority, then if we are taking materials we never take more than 10% of a crop and try to take the least amount we can. Back in Elizabeth’s studio at Krowji and in Sarah’s studio we have started processing those into relief and drawing inks.
