Launching Cornish Inks!

We have been working hard in the studio to develop our first set of gift boxes of Cornish Inks. All the inks in this first collection have been foraged during Elizabeth’s residency at Tehidy Woods. Together we have carefully found and ground earth pigments in a range of deep warm autumnal hues, as well as a range of botanical drawing inks, including an incredible yellow from Gorse. Come along to Krowji Ltd, West Park, Redruth, on the 28th (5-9pm), 29th (10 am-4 pm) and 30th (10 am-4 pm) to see our very first range of products! These are all site-specific and very limited edition - so once they are gone, they are gone!

Cornish Inks had our very first little outing over the last week as part of our founder Sarah’s beautiful show at The Poly, Conversations: Time and Tide, which brought together the work of four local women, Bronwen Sewell, Nicky Stone, Sarah McCartney, Sarah Sullivan and Ingrid Eva. All of whom make work rooted in landscape and in their shared love of outdoor swimming. The show showcased Sarah’s exquisite observational drawing in the landscape using all her own handmade inks. You can see pictures of her amazing bureau of ink-making at the bottom of the images below.
